In one week, the X Games Qualifier will bring in some of the world's top skateboarders and BMX riders to Boise to compete to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis.

It’s going to be a fun event for the whole family, plus the two-day competition is expected to offer a nice economic boost to the city.

It will all take place at the newly renovated Rhodes Park that just re-opened last year.

There will be free parking on city property, plus a free shuttle. Also, over thirty vendors selling food, drinks, T-shirts and hats, and 2 Jumbotrons in the parking lot across the street for an additional view of the action.

Next Friday, June 9th the elimination round will take place between boy's and girl's skateboarding and men's BMX.

Then on Saturday at noon, ESPN 3 will be live streaming the hour-long event.

This is so huge for Boise and should be a great event!
