World Adoption Day may come and go for a lot of people and not mean much. To my family, it means everything.

November 15th is a day to celebrate families, raise awareness for adoption, and help raise funds to bring their little girl or boy (or sibling group) home to their Forever Family.

My family grew by adoption, twice. We have been on many different journeys, from International, Foster to Adopt, and Domestic-Private. We celebrate "Meetcha day" every year like a birthday ("Meetcha day" is the day we met our oldest son, as he was 5 years old.) We also celebrate "Gotcha day", the day he came home forever.

And as always, if you have any questions for my family personally, we would be happy to answer them! Adoption doesn't have to be scary or negative. While adoption always involves a loss,  it isn't always easy, it's SO worth it!
