No doubt, as you commute across the Treasure Valley, you've formulated plenty of opinions about our drivers.  Too slow, too fast, etc.  What about how courteous we are?

Surprise, Idaho has the most courteous drivers in the country according to a new survey.

The nonprofit Kars4Kids conducted the survey that asked a total of 2500 participants and ranked Idaho on top.  The survey was comprised of questions that focused on aggressiveness in response to slow driving and even behavior like probability of taking someone's assigned parking spot.

They even calculated that female drivers between the ages of 51 and 64 are the most polite to other drivers.

Our neighbor states Oregon and Montana were both in the top five and Washington inside the top ten.  For reference, the lowest ranked state was New York (probably no surprise there).

This new survey is in opposition to that from Cars.com a couple years ago.  In that one, we ranked as home of some worst drivers in the country.
