West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell Opens Renovated NICU

West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell celebrated the grand opening of a new neonatal intensive care unit yesterday! It's so exciting to see new facilities open in the Treasure Valley that will make such a huge difference in people's lives.

The new facility has a special care nursery, an isolation room, and state-of-the-art equipment designed specifically for babies who may need treatment for a various health concerns after birth.

These new features will give babies who are about three weeks premature the chance to stay with their family instead of needing to be transferred to another facility in Boise, which is what has happened in the past.
