Now that Election 2014 is officially in the books, all that’s left is the crying and complaining. As we look forward to the next election, a web site put together a list of the top weirdest campaign ads of the year.   Number one is a guy named Bob Quast, who was running for Senate in Iowa as an Independent.  He used a campaign ad as a chance to threaten the psycho who murdered his sister in 1999.

Here is another one of the weirdest ads.  It comes from a guy in Ohio named J.D. Winteregg who attacked John Boehner with a spoof of a Viagra ad, about "electile dysfunction.

Electile dysfunction?

This is a weird one, from a Democrat in Washington State named Estakio Beltran.  He shoots an elephant-shaped pinata with a shotgun, and then rides off into the sunset on a real donkey.

And finally theres David Dewhurst, the lieutenant governor of Texas, who made a "Let It Go" parody where a singer impersonated his opponent Dan Patrick, singing all about how he's a liar and he doesn't care.  (It didn't work.  Patrick defeated Dewhurst in the primaries.)
