The Iditarod Dog Sled Race is days away from it's completion. Mushers and their dogs have been racing through the Alaskan wilderness, and at night their guided by the northern lights.

If you haven't noticed, I'm addicted to the Iditarod this year. On Saturday the Alaska Dispatch News posted a time lapse of the mushers and their dogs resting under the northern lights. Who needs a head lamp with lights so bright! This makes me even more determined to volunteer at one of the check points next year. I want to see this in person. Check it out!
