Wanting to Lose Weight? This is Working for Me
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had been doing something every morning for the past 7 months and that it had helped me lose about 15 pounds so far.
Every morning for the past 7 months I wake up and cut a lemon in half, squeeze it into a cup of hot water and drink it at least 45 minutes before I eat or drink anything else. It is something that I read in a blog about hot lemon water earlier this year and I decided to try it.
Keep in mind, I am not trying to sell you on this, only that I have had so many requests from listeners asking me about it after we talked about on the showgram, that I finally decided to share how it has worked for me.
Believe me, I was skeptical after reading about it at first, but thought I would give it a year to see if there was anything to this drinking hot lemon water craze.
Personally for me, it was very hard to remember to drink a cup of hot lemon water every morning, and at first, I didn’t like the taste very much, but I found as I did it more and more it has become habit. It really has cut down on my food cravings in the morning.
I haven’t changed any of my eating or working out habits, but since I started drinking hot lemon water in April I have lost about 15 pounds. I can really feel it in my clothes.
This isn’t a lose weight fast proposition. I’ve lost about 2 pounds a month since I started, but if I can keep it up till next April, it should mean a loss of 20 to 25 pounds, and I’m OK with that.
