It's amazing that our beautiful city used to look completely different. After spending a good while surfing through videos on YouTube I found this hidden GEM. Take a walk down memory lane. This is Boise's Downtown in 1988. 

Remember the OLD 8th Street Market Place, before BoDo came in? WOW, I do. Spending the summer days at Alive After Five and then walking down to Cafe Ole or taking in a movie with the old murals of Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart and others at the 8th Street Market Place Cinemas. Talk about a flashback. How about when the tallest building in Boise was the now US Bank Building. See if you recognize the Record Exchange. All of this to say, our little city has grown up. -JD
