We have heard that our Idaho State economic conditions have looked good this year, and another indicator seems to be backing that as our unemployment rate is the lowest since 2008.

The latest report from the Idaho Department of Labor shows unemployment in July was at 3 percent, and that is the lowest rate since 2008.

This, according to the Department of Labor, was due to nonfarm job growth of 4300 jobs, and trade, transportation, and utilities creating 1700 of those.

Total Idaho State employment grew to approximately 794,000 for the month of July.
