This just warms my heart. The City of Boise never ceases to amazing me. There are so many people here who are all about giving back, not just during the holiday season but all year round. The Elks Lodge in Boise makes a habit of spreading the love every Christmas time and this year is no different.

Boise's Elk Lodge #310 is feeding families around the Treasure Valley and doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. Twenty families will be receiving groceries for a month thanks to donations from community members. Soaps, eggs, bread, laundry detergents, butter and other items make up the "Charity Baskets" that are distributed. Over $4,000 has been collected to keep the spirits of the 20 families around home. Basket donations allow families to free up their budgets to buy Christmas gifts for their children.
