This is one of those songs that hits you right in the heart and makes you hug your kids a little tighter and think about all the times you didn't smile at the checkout lady.  It's good!

And don't miss The Band Perry playing it Saturday at the Boise Music Festival.

I have so much love for bands that write their own music, and Kimberly Perry wrote this sad, dreamy song.

The lyrics are kinda poetic, like these:

If I die young bury me in satin.
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song.

The Band Perry won two CMA Awards and a CMT Award after debuting in 2010, with this song as their first big hit.

They've got an edgier vibe now, and they say making the new album has been a process where they've been true to themselves.  Nothing is more important than being yourself, according to the band, they said it "matters even when not everyone agrees that you should be or understands why it's important that you are."

They're honest!  And introspective sometimes, and they can be catchy and rock out when they want to.  Can't wait to see these siblings on Saturday at BMF!
