This past weekend I was in Long Beach, Washington and it just happened to the Cranberry Festival. I now can say I'm skilled in the world of cranberry harvesting.

I had no idea that the Washington Peninsula was a hot bed for cranberries! But I definitely learned a lot this weekend. Wet harvest is for juice, concentrate and cranberry sauce. Dry harvest is for straight cranberries. They make cranberry wine, cranberry champagne, cranberry ice cream...etc! And they even let me step into a wet cranberry bog. Who knows, your Thanksgiving cranberry sauce could be made the cranberries between my toes. Yummy!
