This Idaho Winery B&B is The Perfect Romantic Getaway

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, and it being only four days after our 11th anniversary, I've been thinking a lot about finding some alone time with my husband. I've always thought that going to Napa Valley would be the perfect getaway - a chance to relax and drink some world class wine, but I never realized that I didn't have to go all the way to California to have that experience. Yes - it really does exist right here in Idaho.

Thousand Springs Winery Bed & Breakfast in Hagerman, Idaho is the perfect romantic weekend getaway for those of us in the Treasure Valley. Offering stunning views of the Snake River and Thousand Springs waterfalls, this beautiful B&B is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine. And with over 700 Chardonnay vines, 1,300 Syrah vines, and 100 Merlot vines planted within the vineyard, there's a lot of wine to go around!

Want to make a day trip? The Winery's Tasting Room is currently open from March to October from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. Tastings in the off season can be scheduled by appointment.

Rooms start at just $155 per night and include luxury linens, a 24 hour tea and coffee service, free wireless internet, use of common spaces and stargazing telescope, and full country breakfast for two prepared with local ingredients.
