The Mountains Are Missing?

I had to run some errands earlier this afternoon, and snapped this pic as I waited to turn right on Myrtle.  Remember the mountains you could see behind the Capital Building?  Crazy that they are just completely "gone."

The air quality from the fire has been amazingly bad.  You can taste it when you walk out of your house and it's definitely a strange sight to see the mountains hidden behind the wall of smoke.

My thoughts and prayers are with those impacted and fighting the fire.
