The Mix Morning Show Loses a Good Friend of the Show

We are so sad to share the passing of a friend of The Mix Morning Show, Wendy Bauer.

Wendy just visited the show three weeks ago when she showed up with her beaming smile, vibrant personality, and her out of this world homemade shortbread.

Two of Boise's cultural groups will be impacted greatly by the loss of Wendy. She was Scottish by birth and a member of the Treasure Valley Scottish group, but she also was an important part of the Boise's Basque community.

A celebration of life will be held tonight at Basque Center at 601 Grove Street at 6:30 p.m. Scotts and Basques will join together to give Wendy an appropriate send-off as they, in turn, thank Wendy for all that she did for them.
