Rally racers from all across the West are in Boise County this weekend for the 10th Annual Idaho Rally International.

The back roads of the Boise Mountains will be busy as racers compete in Idaho's only rally race. It's a race where drivers compete in a series of stages and vie for the best overall time.

Miles of road many drivers, like Kurt Smith, say are some of the best in the nation. He traveled nearly 900 miles from Southern California just to compete.

He said, "This is the forest nice, good, clean, smooth dirt that there's a lot more grip on. This is rumored to be one of the best rallies, best roads in the nation. So coming out had to get a taste for it myself.”

The race brings new business to this town of 500 as well.
