Thank you to the thousands (5000+) of food and drink lovers who made the Idaho Food Festival a part of their St. Patty’s Day shenanigans. For those of you who weren’t able to make it, stay tuned because another Idaho Food Festival will be coming soon!

The Idaho Food Festival wasn’t only for the Irish or even the Irish for a day. Saturday’s event in downtown Boise saw a steady stream of foodies come through to enjoy not just green beer and corned beef and hash. Many visitors indulged in a savory mound of curly fries, melt-in-your-mouth barbeque, London style fish and chips, massive burgers or a bellissimo Italian dish. Of course the desserts, from ice cream to funnel cakes, were no malarkey either!

For many, the pot of gold at the end of this rainbow was the beverages. There was cold Pepsi and fresh lemonade, but for those who were really looking to get their St. Patty’s Day celebration started, drinks were mixed with the finest spirits, and green, craft or domestic beer was expertly poured. Sipping was encouraged by the lilt of great music, and then in the evening by a movie under the stars. As the luck of the Irish would have it, the weather was that good!

Thanks again for joining us for the first ever Idaho Food Festival and we hope you are looking forward to the next one. In the meantime, our next great event is Idaho’s Largest Garage Sale. Don’t miss it!
