Teens and Firecrackers Were to Blame for the Huge Eagle Creek Fire

This is absolutely awful. With all of the fires we've seen and the noticeable difference in our local air quality because of them, this is shocking.

Oregon State Police have identified a 15-year-old kid as a suspect in starting the Eagle Creek Fire. They think he may have been with a group of friends and used fireworks that started the fire Saturday.

It’s more than 10,000 acres and forced evacuations of around 400 homes. 400 families that had to leave their homes with the fear that they may lose everything they own if it reached them.

What makes it even worse, a witness said she saw the young group of kids laugh as they threw a firecracker into the Eagle Creek Canyon. I do hope they get to the bottom of it and they are held accountable. No arrests have been made yet though.
