I love living in Boise. I just can't get over it! After our family made the move 4 months ago I was so excited to get back to the City of Trees. The endless possibilities of outdoor activities, the people, the Green Belt, the Boise River it just seems like this is the perfect place to raise a family and settle down.

With it being  American Heart Health Month I figured that once the weather started to break into the 60's today it was just the perfect time to get out and enjoy what Boise has to offer. So I rounded up the Wife, packed in the kid and went out on a walk along the Boise River.

According to CDC.gov starting simple can be a way to improve Heart Health everyday. Going for a walk for 15 minutes 3 times a week can make your heart stronger and healthier in the long run.

Get on a routine of healthier food choices, AND see your Doctor more often. That is one things I can say I tend to not do enough. What's another few months skipping that appointment. Just remember that about 600,000 people in America die from heart disease each year, which translates to one in four.
