Finding out that a close contact has tested positive for COVID-19 has become an everyday source of anxiety for many people in the Treasure Valley.

Parent groups have been very vocal about their resistance to remote learning.

First staff shortages in service industries took a big hit. Next and most recently the airlines were forced to cancel tons of flights due to airline staff out sick mostly due to the pandemic. Now it is hitting our school system.

It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has been working with West Ada School District since 1990. One major program for Assistance League of Boise is Operation School Bell. This provides brand new clothing to K-6 students with the greatest needs.

Launched in 2018 this incredible organization helps local youth and families who need it most. A simple app makes it easy to help anytime.

Another school year, another mask debate. What are your thoughts on West Ada's decision?

Some kids excel in a distance learning setting. Students should have the option for this accommodation when schools finally resume standard operation.
