My dad is a US Navy veteran, and he's committed to flying the US flag several days each year.  He hits the obvious ones like Memorial Day and the 4th of July, but the most important day to him might be June 14th.

The list of the fattest cities in America is out, and Boise is on the list. But we're far enough away from the top spot that I think we can take a day off from the treadmill and not worry too much.

Overall, people are leaving the East Coast, and flocking to the West. What exactly does that mean for Idaho?

We should feel rich in Idaho. Compared to Delaware anyway. One hundred dollars goes a lot further in Idaho than it does in other places and here's how much.

We learned this week that Boise has one of the best Downtowns in the country, according to Livability. Or maybe they confirmed what we already knew. (Fighting the urge to put the winky emoji right there.) Meanwhile, other cities across the US are getting ripped apart for having awful designs. More reason to love the Treasure Valley!

Well, the Boise spots are part of a national chain that has earned the honors, but since none of the rest of us made the list, why not high five them?  Ok, nice work lovely gas station on State Street.  With locations on West Chinden and South Eisenman too.

We might have more millenials moving here after this.  Boise has made the Top 25 Most Livable Cities List released by Vocativ.
