So, it only takes one day for four of the big chemicals in sunscreen to get into our bloodstreams. As a mom (and wearer of sunscreen), this freaks me out a little.
The experts say there's something we can do one hour after major sun exposure that will keep a horrible sunburn appearing. This may come in handy this week. Again.
Hopefully "surprises" doesn't mean red-hot sunburns. There will be other things that pop up, like opportunities to get great Facebook pics with cool people and chances to win fun, last minute prizes.
I feel like a walking, talking poster child for sunscreen. I had surgery yesterday on another spot where skin cancer was found. These photos should encourage you to wear sunscreen.
That is not an actual picture of me, but it could have been so many times. My poor skin has been through so much and now I'm dealing with skin cancer. Please take this advice and learn from me!
