Having babies does strange things to us.  The hormones make us laugh harder, cry more, and we gain the heightened ability to sniff out the cause of a foul odor a mile away. And sometimes we want to stay connected to the new-mom experience so badly that we will do anything to immortalize it.  And that includes turning breast milk rock hard so it becomes hard as a gem, and can hang on a necklace.  C

Get a group of moms together, and we can chat it up!  This popular web-based show just announced it's moving to Idaho.  Have you seen it?

Oh, how I love the Thin Mints! But I've noticed something about Girl Scout cookie sales around the Treasure Valley, and maybe you have too.  Are the moms of Scouts doing all the work?

If you're three years old and you've spent the entire summer playing with your older sisters, the first day of school is a rude awakening! Big sisters pack up their backpacks, march out the door in their fancy new sneakers, brag about getting to see old friends and make new ones, and you're left behind with Mama. Now what?

Don't mess with Mama!  When maternal instincts kick in, nothing comes between a Mama and her baby.

Ladies, do you feel like you have great job opportunities here?  And you have an awesome work-life balance?  Excellent!  You hit the jackpot. But Idaho overall is so-so for working moms.

As a mom of three girls, this makes me get goosebumps!  And a little teary.  These kids are blindfolded and have to find their moms using touch and smell and all of their senses.

Parents, these moments happen to you too, right?  I'm not alone with the chaos? As hard as I try to keep order, kids happen.  And every time I utter the phrase, "You know, Mama don't like messes," (which is a LOT!), the three year-old replies with, "But I do like messes!" She'...

I know this about myself and I've come to terms with it.  I am not good at Halloween.

And now we know that Zombie moms are called "Mombies."  Every feel like one?  Um, yeah... Nice job ladies!
