For the entire month of December, Starbucks is showing its compassion and thankfulness to first responders and people working on the front lines against the pandemic and beyond. At participating Starbuck locations, which is pretty much ALL of them, individuals who identify as a front-line responders will receive a free hot or iced coffee.

I've been thinking about this a lot the last few weeks; I'm so grateful for kindness and people going out of their way to help others out.

Teachers deserve a nice, relaxing drink after nine months of hard work trying to shape and inspire all of our budding little Einsteins. So parents, if you're looking to have a little fun with teacher appreciation gifts right now, this might be a perfect idea.

It's Teacher Appreciation Day today, and to some of the hardest working most generous people I know, I want to say thank you for all you do for so many of us.

December 26th is National Whiners Day, and it's not an excuse to moan about what we didn't get for Christmas or complain about a relative that got on our nerves over the weekend. Instead, there's one simple thing we can do to observe this important day.

A free concert this Sunday in Boise will focus on gratitude, and it will benefit the Idaho Food Bank as they get ready for a big week of service. This will be a memorable way to kick off Thanksgiving week.

It seems to me there are two types of people.  Those who love Valentine's Day, and those fear it.  I'm usually more the latter, but this year, it was really nice.
