Symbolic Mural in Downtown Boise Inspired by Faces of Hope Victim Center

You can now access downtown Boise's Basque Block from the brand-new City Center Plaza through an enclosed walkway. Artists painted huge symbolic murals along the side of their new building. The images were inspired by the FACES of Hope Victim Center here in the Treasure Valley.

You can feel the darkness on the end closest to the plaza, and then it transforms into light and hope with bright flowers at the walkway opening on Capitol.

The walkway opened up over the weekend and there’s already been a significant amount of foot traffic. They are close to halfway finished with the mural and hope to have it completed by mid-October.
