Mix 106 and Townsquare Media Boise is excited for the kick off of the annual event that has become an end of summer tradition. This year like in years past there will be plenty of family friendly events, including the Night Glow, Children's Day and the Last Dance.

Last year I had the chance to actually ride in one of the hot air balloons. It was fantastic and scary and freaking awesome all at the same time.

Over 43 Hot Air Balloons are ready to hover above the valley from Ann Morrison Park to celebrate the end of summer and the transition of seasons. Our families favorite has always been the "Night Glow". Watching the grounded balloons illuminate the dusk displaying their colors as brilliant lanterns are breathtaking. This is a brilliant event and fills up quickly.  As you get close to this Labor Day weekend, treat your family and take them to at least one event. You will be creating memories that your kids will talk about for years. Admission is FREE so this is a must do. You know when you have people visit town and they ask you " okay what is the Boise experience, what do I NEED to do?" Yeah, that is Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic.
