I am not a graceful person, which is exactly why I haven't even attempted to ski or snowboard.  But snow tubing? I can totally handle that!

And if you love snow tubing as much as I do, then get out those snow pants and head straight to Gateway Parks at Eagle Island! We just found out that they've been taking advantage of the evenings where lows dropped into the 20s to run their snowmaking equipment and there's enough enough of the white stuff on the ground for a Saturday grand opening of their tubing hill!

To celebrate the first week of fun in the snow, they're discounting passes to just $12 November 24-30! Sessions last 90 minutes and are available from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily! You can reserve your discount ticket for this weekend now by clicking HERE!

When I was in high school, our youth group's winter retreat was a ski trip.  Every year before we got on the bus to head to the mountain, my track coach would plead with me to not even think about taking a ski or snowboard lesson.  It was a legitimate request on his part because it's a well known fact that I am the most uncoordinated person alive.  Chances are I would've broken a leg (or worse) just a few weeks before the indoor track state championships where I'd qualified in three events.

I didn't want to not make the trip with my friends though, so we reached a compromise.  I could go, but I had to stick to the tubing hill because tubing requires no actual skill or coordination. And you know what? I had a blast...every...single...year!
