I’ve been on the air in the Treasure Valley since 2009, and I love hanging out with ya!  We’re always chatting about fitness and exercise, relationships, and workplace experiences, pop culture news, kids, and other things that present huge challenges.  Like online dating!  Maybe Tinder will land me a fella here pretty soon.  If you’re a single mom trying to date hot guys, and also find time to eat, sleep, work, and exercise, I am right there with ya.  We should form a support group.
I was born and raised in the rural town of Elwood, Nebraska with one stop light, a court house, three churches, and a bar.  I’m a Cornhusker, and graduated with a Broadcasting degree from the University of Nebraska, and then worked all over the country in radio, including Lincoln, NE, Austin, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, Tyler, TX, Olean and Elmira, NY, and several places in between.  Oh, and I’ve done radio news in Hawaii.
When I’m not working, I’m usually running.  I try to run between 6 and 9 miles a day because I love that runners high!  I try to eat clean too.  I love shopping, going out for salmon and wine, seeing live music and comedy, and listening to all kinds of music.  I’ve got three daughters, and that means in the late afternoon I’m an Uber mom, taking them to gymnastics, karate, softball, or whatever is in season.  Life is full, and fun!
You are an important part of it.  So thanks for listening, and be sure to drop me an email anytime you feel like it. Make it a great day!

The rest of the football universe is discovering now what Boise State fans have known for awhile now.  Jay Ajayi is awesome.

It's hard to have a 100-yard game as a running back in the NFL, and as a Miami Dolphin this season, Ajayi has had two straight games with over 200 yards.  He's amazing!

Adult Women Have the Worst Road Rage in Boise

What is the worst spot for road rage around Boise?  One of the I-84 exits?  Near the Village at Meridian because everyone is trying to eat and shop and it's crowded? Everywhere?

You Might Get a Free Taco at Taco Bell

There sure are a lot of Cubs fans around. After Chicago advanced to the World Series with the win on Saturday night, I saw jerseys at the grocery store on Sunday, and one guy even wore his Cubs jersey to church. He's an usher, and he greeted people that way.

Even if you're not a huge Cubs or Indians fan, we've all got something riding on the World Series.  Free food!

Idaho’s Voter Turnout Lags Behind the Rest of the Country

They're trying to make it easier on us to get out and vote, with the mobile truck taking ballots around the Treasure Valley during early voting this week.  And the push is there to get us to the polls on November 8th too.

Voters don't always jump at the chance to cast a ballot, and that keeps Idaho in the lower half of the US when it comes to voter turnout.

If you ask ten people for their opinions on the best Halloween candy, you might get ten different answers.
