Serious Question Facebook Users

Everyone get's the friend request from someone they don't know. But my serious question is do I accept or not?

I've been back on Facebook for little over a week now. And I seriously need some help on deciding what to do about friend requests?

I know many people that have Facebook pages for their work & accept everyone. And most have nothing but pleasant experiences. But that there is another side to that coin  where they have nothing but bad experiences with random people they don't know.

So do I role the dice & accept everyone? Or do you think I should only accept people I know or have met?
