Sam Smith Just Lost 14 Pounds in 14 Days
It ain’t easy losing weight, and Sam Smith has lost a bunch quickly. How did he do it?
Sam put a pic on Instagram yesterday that quickly went viral and gained the attention of US Magazine and just about everyone else who hopped on social media. He captioned the pic saying he had lost 14 pounds in 14 days.
Remember at the Grammys he said he used to struggle with the thought that people might like him more if he lost weight? Then he said he had reached a point of self-acceptance about many things including weight, and that was actually when he gained the most fans and people really started liking him. Fans like self-acceptance. Although Sam was happy before, he seems really happy now, and said this week that the weight loss was a healthy process for him.
He said basically he started eating “cleaner,” and went gluten-free and refined-sugar free. He credits Amelia Freer’s book called Eat. Nourish. Glow in the transformation.
Whatcha think, is losing that much weight that quickly a good thing? Those of us who have struggled with weight know it’s hard to maintain a goal weight and keeping it off might be a bigger challenge than the actual weight loss. But congrats to Sam on the success, and congrats to that author on a huge feat getting a celeb to follow the plan. There’s big buzz for her too now.
