Police Offer Advice After a String of Burglaries in Boise Neighborhood

A string of break-ins and burglaries has hit East Boise near the Harris Ranch neighborhood.

Police are warning everyone to take extra precautions after an unusually high number of property crimes over the past few weeks.

Burglars are targeting homes that look like no one is home, either when homeowners are at work for the day or on a trip.

If you are going out of town, tell your neighbors so they can keep their eyes on anything suspicious.

You can leave a radio or TV on inside your house, or keep a light on, something that might confuse the suspect and make them think someone is home.
