The dollar menu at Taco Bell may actually be cheaper than that soon.  The company is testing out a new menu where everything is under a buck.

How delicious will the cheesy roll-up be that appears on this value menu?  Who cares! We just have to dig up three quarters and four pennies to try it, and that can probably be located in the couch cushions.  It's so cheap it will feel funny using a debit card to pay for these things.

Here are some of the menu items Taco Bell is working on for the new value menu.

79 Cents: Cinnamon Twists, Cheesy Roll-Up

89 Cents: Flamin' Hot Fritos Taco, Queso Bean Burrito, and Veggie Tostada

99 Cents: Queso Beef Burrito, Queso and Chips, Shredded Chicken Mini Quesadilla, and Beefy Fritos Burrito.

College students rejoice.  You're gonna have some cheap eats other than Ramen noodles for your 1am study break.  This may be the only time that a Fritos Burrito feels extravagant!  It's now on the pricey, elite side of the menu.

The new value menu hasn't rolled out nationwide yet, but if the test sites are successful, we could be seeing the 89-cent Queso Bean Burrito at the Overland Road, Fairview, or Broadway Taco Bell locations soon.  We'll keep you updated.
