Not On My Eggo! Waffles Voluntarily Recalled All Over The Treasure Valley

In our home touching another person's Eggo Waffles is a SIN. A SIN that will not only get your hand slapped, but enough loose a limb the next time it's tried again. NO of course I'm joking, but Eggo Waffles are a steady part of Treasure Valley families morning breakfast routines.

Well get ready waffle lovers for some unfortunate news. This morning the Michigan based Kellogg Company released the news that close to 10,000 cases of Eggo Waffles Nutri-gran Whole Wheat Waffles was part of a recall that could be infected with listeria. More than 25 states have been subject to the recall, yet IDAHO is in the clear as of right now. Yikes...I was a tad worried about this. See the first few sentences of this blog to understand why lol. Waffles are a sacred part of my families Saturday Mornings lol. While we dogged a bullet on this one, it is a voluntary recall, and the company is asking you to take a closer look at the product in your freezer the next time you get back from Albertson's or WinCo. - JD
