I can't even being to tell you how excited I am about this. As an avid amateur movie maker having all the tools necessary is pretty important. Adding this one to my arsenal will make things interesting. Even better the company that is putting it together is right here in Boise.

I love using my GoPro but as many of us know that filming at night can sometimes be a bit difficult. The way that the image comes out most the times are not what we want in our final product. Well no more, my friends. A Boise based company is taking military style technology and adding it in to a new product that is being developed right in our own back yard.

What was once an impossibility will now become reality. Aviation Specialties Unlimited, started making developing this product years ago for fertilizing crops and fields around the valley with Valley Air LLC.  What started out as farmer based night vision goggles are now being offered to public for the very first time. The new addition to the GoPro cameras will set you back a cool $5,500 but this opens up the night to all film makers. The normal life of a GoPro has about an hour or so of operation time, but with the new addition this increases your filming capability to 6 to 7 hours. WOW. -JD
