Nicole’s Son Goes To Sleepaway Camp For The First Time

I posted a couple of weeks ago on summer camps and activities for kids while school is out.

My 12 year old has been enjoying his time off from school a little too much. He doesn't enjoy sports but he does love to be activity and stay busy. We decided this year was a good time for his first ever sleepaway camp. He is doing the adventure camp through the YMCA.

I'm so nervous! He flew across the country last summer to stay with his grandparents and I was nervous then, but knowing that he would be on the plane and then with family, made it a little better. Now, he will be going for a week to a new place where I have never been and with people that I don't know.

It's going to be a long week, but I know it's going to be a great memory for him and he will be able to make some great, new friends.
