I have two boys, one is twelve and the other, one and a half. The older one is a ball of energy and loves to be active and the younger one is at that age where he is constantly learning independence, increasing curiosity, and eager to explore.

We decided to try something fun this week as a family and visit a new park each day. It gives us the opportunity to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather in the Treasure Valley and find new parks that we may not otherwise visit.

The first park this week that we tried was Reid W. Merrill Sr. Community Park in Eagle. We drive by it often but had never stopped to play. It's a little on the older side as far as the play equipment, but it has all of the 'oldie but goodies', great slides, monkey bars, and a small rock climbing wall. I loved the gazebo area and walking paths.

Which park should we visit next?
