NCAA March Madness Tournament Will Bring Gonzaga To Boise

If you follow March Madness and the NCAA Tournament, you know Boise is going to be hosting a number of teams at Taco Bell Arena.  We found out today, Spokane's Gonzaga is one of them. 

It seems there are a good number of Gonzaga fans here in the Treasure Valley.  Maybe because of the team's "small but mighty" image, their numerous "Cinderella" appearances, or the regional connection to the Jesuit University in our neighbor state.

It's hard to argue there's quite as much enthusiasm for any of the other teams headed our way, as the Zags.

Gonzaga said they are excited to been slotted to play at Taco Bell Arena Thursday.  They hope the shorter distance from home base will mean more fans will be able to join the team and see them take on 13th-seed UNC Greensboro.  The game will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Getting tickets will likely be the biggest challenge for fans here and traveling in to see the game.  The ticket resale market is already seeing prices for all-session tickets as high as $1600.
