It's almost difficult to put into words how excited I am to be here in Nampa. Not everyone enjoys having to commute before or after work but it's my way to relax, plus I was able to purchase a nicer home the farther I got outside of Boise. Growing up in Seattle, having to drive in from Nampa is no problem at all.

As a new resident of Nampa one of the first stops we made was to Nampa's Amity Dog Park. My wife Savannah and I have 2 rescue dogs Koda and Gypsy. Koda is a 7 1/2 year old black Flat Coat Retriever and Gypsy is a 4 year old Brindle Boxer mix. Our dogs really are like our kids and they are spoiled on a daily basis.

We rescued Koda out of Kalispell, MT after he was left tied to a stop sign, and Gypsy was rescued out of Texas with 6 puppies and she had Heartworm. Since joining our family both have been happy and healthy, with Gypsy beating Heartworms after just one round of treatment.

Life is so good when you see your dogs having fun and enjoying life, and the Nampa dog park is the best I have ever been to. Our dogs love playing with other dogs and just last week Koda swam for the first time. Let's just say Savannah was the most proud dog mom on the planet, to put it mildly. With the dog park being over 6 acres in size including a small dog area and a large area for dogs to swim, this is a must for any dog owner in the area. And most likely, I'll see you there.
