Mike and Nicole had the hilarious pleasure of having stand up comedian Carlos Mencia in the Studio ahead of his Friday night performance at the Egyptian Theater...Want tickets?

Mencia comes from a humble background, born in , Honduras, the 17th of 18 children…..yes 18 kids, and you thought you had it tough.

His parents sent him to the United States when he was about three months old, where he was raised in the Maravilla Projects in Los Angeles by his aunt and uncle.

Mencia attended Cal State University where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering, which seems a strange way to make it as a comedian, but in the video below, he explains why his engineering degree helps with his comedy....he sees comedy in a mathematical way and it works for him.

Carlos has many acting credits on his resume including his own show, “The Mind of Mencia” which ran for 3 years on Comedy Central.

Watch the video, Carlos says it like it is and  he doesn’t care if it’s politically incorrect, which I admit is pretty refreshing in this day and age. He warns that his show might offend some people, so be prepared if you are going to his show tonight (10/27) at the Egyptian Theater at 8 p.m.
