Mike's Night At 2017 Air Guard Officer of the Year Awards Banquet

Mike and his wife, Tracy had the honor of being invited to this year's Airman of the Year Award for the Idaho Air Guard's 124th Fighter Wing. Here are some of the sights and sounds for the night.

In November of 2106 Tracy was named as an Honorary Commander for the security division of the 124th Fighter wing at Gowen Field. The honorary Commander program is an outreach program designed to promote community interaction with the Idaho Air Guard and as an Honorary Commander she gets to participate in various Air Guard activities and drills throughout the year....Including the super fun Airman Awards banquet at JUMP Ballroom in downtown Boise. Tracy is entering her final year as an honorary commander at Gowen, so we made sure we had fun at the recent OTY (Officer of The Year) banquet held on Friday January 5th...not only was it OTY, but it was also Tracy's birthday.

The OTY here in Boise recognizes officers of the year at Gowen field, who then will go on to compete against all other basis for OTY for the Air National Guard in the U.S.
