After years of my wife and I attending and supporting the Caldwell Fight Night fundraiser, we finally had a family member take part this year.  He's in the black trunks and electric green socks.

Caldwell Fight night is a fundraiser for the Caldwell High School football team and the College of Idaho Baseball program.  High school boys and girls along with C of I college men and women volunteer to lace up the gloves and pummel each other to the delight of all attending.

This year our son, a sophomore at Caldwell High, signed up to fight one of his buddies.  Luckily they match up kids according to size so our son who is 6 foot 4 and about 155 pounds fought another kid of similar size.

I gave Corbin 3 pieces of advice.  Keep your gloves up so you don't get punched in the face, keep moving, and don't cry because there is no crying in boxing.

Happy to say as you can see from the video, with absolutely no previous boxing experience he did pretty well for himself.  If I'm scoring the fight I had it 1st round for the other kid, second round a draw and Corbin won the 3rd round.

Fun was had by all and a lot of money was raised for two good programs.
