A few years ago, Mike and I thought it would be fun to dress up as elves and deliver stockings to the kids who have to spend the holidays at St. Luke's Children's Hospital. We thought with 12 listeners we could fill a few stockings and bring a little cheer to the kid-Os.

Fast forward a few years....someone needs to rent us a warehouse to store all our donations, hire us a moving truck to get it to the hospital and add on 6 arms to each of our bodies in order to hand out all the presents! Oh my goodness is all I can say after stuffing the stockings last night!

You are so generous! You kindness is overwhelming. I had tears in my eyes the entire time I was working on the stockings. We could not do this without you! Ever since I moved here 12 years ago, I have been blown away at what a generous, giving, caring community the Treasure Valley is! And you never cease to amaze me! I wish I could take each and every one of you to the hospital so you can see what joy your giving brings to these children. Their faces light up! The cheer the comes out of those stockings seeps into their souls and brightens up their gloomy situation. You do that with your donation! We will have pictures and video for you to see all that happens tomorrow. I want to say a big thank you to:

St. Paul's Catholic School in Nampa $100 cash and a challenge to all the other Catholic Schools.
Pet Smart and all the stuffed animals!
Idaho Central Credit Union $500 donation
Mountain Home Air Force Base and the Build-A-Bears! (Men in fatigues making build-a-bears will forever be a memory for me!)
Jordan's Hallmark at Karcher Mall (Ukuleles!!)
And all the anonymous Christmas Elves in the Treasure Valley!

THANK YOU!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Tune in tomorrow for the unveiling of the Elf Costume fiasco!! :)
