Meet Your Guest Hosts

I'm off to Cancun, Mexico to play in the sun! You know both your guest hosts, but I'm sure you have a lot of questions about one of them. Here are your answers.

My best friend, Ysabel Bilbao, is one of your guest hosts while I go get into trouble with the Diamond Girls in Cancun.

I know there are a few questions about Ysabel's return since you're probably thinking, "Wait. Didn't she move to Spain last year? Didn't Kate go visit her in Spain? Is she back for good or just filling in for Kate?"

YES. Ysabel moved to Spain last year. This was a decision that took her years to make. She eventually decided to risk it all for love and moved to the Basque Country. As Lifetime has taught us, not all love stories work out as we'd hoped. After 1 road trip through Spain, with yours truly, and a few sleepless nights mulling over the decision to stay or go, Ysabel decided to move back home (yay for us!) and regroup.
She was able to get her job back at Galatin Public Affairs and is moving forward.

I'm envious of Ysabel and admire her strength. Last year was the toughest year of her life and yet none of those things dimmed her light. If you know her or are getting to know her over the next 5 days, you see that her light shines so bright! She has no regrets (and shouldn't ever) and tons of hope for what's to come. I'm so blessed to have her in my life and can only hope that I handle life's hurdles with the courage she has.

So I ask that you don't bombard her with questions for details. The pain is still a little raw and take it from me, it's tough to talk about heartbreak when you're on the air. Just be like me and be selfishly glad she is back in Boise!
