Meet The Treasure Valley Mom Of The Year!

Today at Lucky Fins Seafood Grill, the winner of the Mix 106 Treasure Valley Mom of the Year contest was announced! Find out who won and what she won!

Congratulations to Cindy Claassen, The Mix 106 Treasure Valley Mom of the Year! Cindy's daughter Brittany nominated her and then worked her butt off to get her mom the most votes!

Cindy and the other top 5 moms who got the most votes, along with the person who nominated them were invited to a luncheon at Lucky Fins Seafood Grill. After an amazing lunch and hearing about all 6 of these amazing moms, the envelope was unsealed and Cindy was named Treasure Valley Mom of the Year! According to Brittany, her mom is very deserving of this title,

My mother deserves mom of the year because she is a single mom raising a busily scheduled 16 year old daughter, and continues to pay for piles of medical bills after two surgeries. Both were major surgeries within less than a year of each other; the more recent one being breast cancer. She overcame a tremendous weight loss of 114 pounds in a years’ time. She puts others before herself, always helping when needed, even though sometimes she cannot. She will always try her best to help.

Cindy won $500 in cash, $500 in house cleaning from Molly Maid, $350 in services at Caliente Full Service Salon, a 6 month membership at Axiom Fitness, a night's stay at the Grove Hotel with dinner at Emilio's and a year's supply of Little Caesar's Pizza(One large pizza, Crazy Bread, and a two liter of soda)! Plus all 6 moms and their guests got 4 tickets to the Boise Music Festival on June 28th!

We had over 50 nominations for Mix 106 Treasure Valley Mom of the Year and I want to personally thank all of you who nominated a deserving mom. Thank you to everyone who voted online and a huge thanks to all the moms! You truly make the world go round!
