Maroon 5 Video Was Fake!

Remember last week when Maroon 5's new video for the song Sugar came out?  It showed Maroon 5 "crashing" weddings and surprising brides and grooms with a performance at their special day?

The idea was that they had done this randomly.  That idea was not reality.

Ironically, it was the actors who were cast as "parents of Asian bride" who let the cat out of the bag, and people seem to be quite bothered that it wasn't real.  I have to think most of us could see that the wedding party and parents were not protesting quite enough when strangers stormed the reception and set up a curtain and told them "just trust us."

The song is still awesome, but I'm sorry, it's not real.
