Idaho is now in great company when it comes to healthy living and the energy bar brand The next time you pick up a Cliff Bar, it may come directly from The Gem State. Twin Falls and the Magic Valley of Idaho was chosen as the site for the new 300,000 square foot facility that is producing the popular energy bar. The new space looks incredible and the great thing for the state is that they already employ over 200 people and are planning on adding another 65 plus to the work force very soon.

Eric Forsch a Mix 106 Listener told me about his visit to the new plant and what it felt like walking through.

It is a pretty amazing facility. They plan on building out a walking path and will have bikes that employees can borrow to ride around on. Walking in I instantly felt a warmth and sense of calm, something that is pretty unique when you are in a manufacturing plant.

The new Cliff Bar facility cost an estimated $90 million and the main thought behind the building is that when workers are happy with there outside surrounding they are happier working inside. Hence the reason for so many windows showing off the incredible scenery. - JD
