Look Who Got A Makeover!

Ronald McDonald is back and he is on social media! I already sent my Facebook friend request to him and am now waiting anxiously for him to accept.

I'll be honest, I didn't really notice that McDonald's had benched Ronald McDonald. Apparently the Golden Arches had been accused to using the clown to attract children. Uh, yeah! They sell happy meals to kids so why not use a clown to market to children! The world has gotten way to sensitive is you ask me.

The good news is that McDonald's has called the clown back up the starting line up and they have given him a makeover and he will be using social media (thank goodness!). He won't be getting is own Twitter account but he will be using existing McDonald's accounts under #RonaldMcDonald. Now that Ryan Star has taught me how to officially tweet (yes I have been faking it for the last two years), I can tweet the clown who hocks chicken nuggets!
