Look What I Get To Do This Weekend!

I get to do something this weekend that I have never done before! I am going to catch a Chinook Salmon! Fish On! I can feel it!

You really just need to watch the first 3 minutes to get the jist of what I'm in for this weekend. Drano Lake is on the Washington side of the Columbia River across from Hood River.

If you are one of our 12 Listeners you might be surprised to learn I have never caught a Salmon with all the fishing I have done. I've been salmon fishing in Riggins for the last 3 years but I have never hooked one. The boys have hooked them and handed me the rod to reel in, but that doesn't count. I want to hook it, reel it, feel it and eat it! I know I'm in for an epic weekend! Salmon fishing at Drano in the spring is combat fishing (notice all the boats in spot) just like the combat fishing in Riggins only this weekend I get to be in a boat and not casting 5 rows deep from the bank of the Salmon River.
