You've heard it a million times, if you don't put on your coat you'll catch the flu..right. There may be something behind that statement this month. Boise has seen an increase in cases of the Flu this year compared to last.

St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise has seen a spike in Flu cases in the month of January. And by spike, I'm talking about a 300 percent increase from this time last year. Fortunately, it's not too late to get this year's Flu Shot but if you can't come in get the shot make sure to wash your hands and keep sanitizer around the house. It's all about keeping it clean whenever you can.

Idaho has seen over 25 deaths due to Flu in 2016.
