Local business in the Treasure Valley have really stepped up to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The owner of BBQ 4 Life on Vista in Boise is teaming up with national charity, Operation BBQ Relief, to feed families and emergency responders in the affected areas of Texas.
They've been collecting donations to take down to Texas and they're on the ground and will start cooking.

You don’t usually think about that type of help. At least not me, I’m always focused on the hygiene products and diapers. I forget that these people just lost everything, how are they going to eat?!

Boise State also has four student-athletes from the Houston area. The men’s basketball team sent boxes of clothing and shoes to the University of Houston athletic department this week and the football team packaged up 12 boxes of clothing and shoes to send.

If you hear of any other local businesses offering support to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, please let us know.
